The technology available at John Humbird included a SmartBoard, projector, document camera, computer lab, two classroom computers, a computer hooked up to the projector for the SmartBoard, a boom box for listening to reading stories, and some laptops for the school. During our time there, all of these technologies were utilized. The SmartBoard and projector were used by a teacher for a lesson, and a few times during our lessons. The document camera was used in most lessons by our mentor teacher and the boom box was used once or twice per week when the lesson requires it. The computer lab is use during their technology resource time once per week and the classroom computers are used by the students during recess time if they are allowed to stay in. The laptops were used by other classes, and one student from our class used one for researching during lunch one day.
